Spring Creek Correctional Center Motor Pool Roof Repair/Fall Protection

//

This project consisted of the replacement, strengthening and repairing portions of the motor pool roof at the spring creek correctional center in Seward Alaska.  This was a pre-manufactured metal building that partially collapsed in April 2008 due to excessive snow weight.  The scope of work involved increasing the strength of the portion of the building that did not collapse from 40psf to 80psf of snow load.

In addition to the motor pool roof repairs we installed a fall restraint system to be used on a warehouse roof for the purpose of removing snow.
